I’m T.B.Wayne and I am a storyteller.

I just published my first book at 49 years old, right on the cusp of 50 actually. I self-published as I really didn’t like the idea of an agent and a publishing house telling me how to write my stories. I began writing early, very early, at around 11 years old. I wrote a 25-page treatise on how to implement the ancient knight’s code of chivalry in modern times. I was inspired by a friend of mine who had written a 50-page story he made up on his own. I was flabbergasted. He was twelve at the time and it was a life-changing event for me. I played Dungeons and Dragons heavily with a solid group of friends for a couple of years then as I moved around I played oftentimes by myself. I crafted my own campaigns and storylines. It was in 1986 that I created the villain that’s in my first book, Arawn Mistweaver. I was playing the gigantic module, “Queen of the Demonweb Pits” and I created an unforgiving, lawful-evil albino Drow fighter mage who lived by a Yakuza-like code of honor.

Eventually, I finished school and joined the Marines. I spent four years in the Marine Corps Infantry where I met my wife. We have been married for nearly 30 years and have two knucklehead teenagers who are both in high school now and beginning to spread their wings. We have a dog, a cat, and two leopard geckos as well. I work full time and write on the side. We have lived in East Los Angeles, Washington State, Houston Texas, and are now residing in Orlando, Florida.

I have plans for two trilogies in the Arawn Series, the first will be called “The Rise of Arawn” while the second will be “The Fall of Arawn.” I have an open-ended series I am really excited about and I will be following that up with a superhero series I’ve got whipping back and forth in my brainpan. I hope to have the first trilogy done and published by the end of 2021 with the second completed in 2022.
