A Confluence of Shadows, The Rise of Arawn, Book Two
In the second installment of "The Rise of Arawn,” we find our reluctant outlaws on the run. They struck a blow against the dark but it was not a mortal wound. Seeking a weapon in their fight, they head to the ruins of Albany and find nothing. At their wit’s end, they learn from Lilith of an ancient facility that houses her sister AI, Eve, but it lies in the mythical Kingdom of Noradusa, long ago listed as apostate and against the faith to even cross into its boundaries. It is to this ancient and unknown land they travel, crossing mountains and lands not seen in hundreds of years. What they discover there will devastate their already shattered faith and might just save them all if it doesn’t kill them first.
A Penumbra of Twilight, The Rise of Arawn, Book Three
Now a war leader, like the ancient mythological war chief Genghis himself, Arawn and his cavalry command a full third of the continent. They have managed to lay claim to Namibia, the richest of all known lands, the steppes of the eastern plains, the mountains of Cumbridge, and numerous others. With the new AI Eve, they had a chance but Mackai’s betrayal has left them desolate. Only the battle with the insane Saint Gabriel has led them to find the tiniest chance of defeating the all-powerful Michael Basehart. In his ramblings, Saint Gabriel mentioned the legendary Saint Tessa and her plan to escape Michael Basehart. If they can discover her whereabouts and convince her to help them, hope may yet exist.
Valhalla Reborn, Saga of The Great North Wind
Imagine if Ragnarok was not the end of the Norse Pantheon but instead it was their rebirth. Imagine if the entire pantheon was reborn in bodies, today, but they did not know who they were at first. That only a small cohort of the Asgardians had woken, led by Thor, Heimdall, Tyr, and Frigga, they scoured the world hoping to find their lost brothers and sisters. Standing in their way was The Wolves, a biker gang led by Fenris who would stand at nothing to capture them.
In this reality, Thor is a 6’7” black man, Heimdall a red-haired lesbian woman, Tyr a Japanese swordsman, and Frigga a Samoan lady desperately searching for Odin. Odin is a Hispanic boy, only twelve years old, hiding illegally in the USA named Javier “Javi” Cuervo. They simply could not find him and there was only ever one of the Gods who could always track Odin down…Loki.
Lucas Erikson, a disgraced Air Force Para Rescue trooper just released from Leavenworth Federal Penitentiary for cowardice on the battlefield. He left a pilot to die. Awash in a plethora of drugs and alcohol, he hallucinates himself covered in fire, wielding axes in each hand and protecting a small black-haired boy with one eye. Standing against him, a giant black man with ice blue eyes wielding a large sledgehammer, a Japanese man with a katana, and a red-haired woman holding two Skorpion machine pistols. He awakens from his drug-induced stupor to see a small one-eyed Hispanic boy standing in front of him, holding out a box of gum, saying, “Chickle?”
